Jeff Gaines is the founder and owner of Technically Working. The central theme of decision-making being driven by logic, emotion, and/or past conditioning comes from his book, Fat, Broke, and Busy: Escaping America’s “Never Enough” Culture, published in 2013. His TEDx talk on the content has over 1 million views.
Jeff has been in the field of Learning and Development for over 28 years. He has been a Master Facilitator for Fierce Conversations and Core Strengths, in addition to his own consulting work. He has worked in organizations large and small, for-profit, non-profit, and government, and in almost every sector.
Jeff lives with his wife of over 24 years in the Minneapolis area.
Jim Sorensen is a collaborator on the content, as well as a co-author of the book. Jim is now retired from the L + D field after a long and very successful career, spanning four decades and also working in numerous organizations and sectors.
